Mark and Noreen Kimball welcome you to their guest lodge! The atmosphere in the home built in 1910 is comfortable and homey. Relax after a day of fishing, hunting or recreation on the Missouri River. Centrally located, you are only a few miles away from any type of outdoor or recreational activity for those enthusiastic types. We welcome parties anywhere from 1 to 12. Nothing fancy, just relaxation on the ranch at a reasonable rate. Family Getaways, fishing trips for the buddies or father/son hunting trips for lasting memories!

I just wanted to drop you a letter and let you know how much I enjoyed a stay at the Homestead during the 2001 Pheasant season. The accomodations were great espcially at night when you and your wife would greet us with a big fire in the pit behind the house. I really enjoyed sitting around the fire visiting with everyone. Our furnishings are comfortable, with a few handmade items throughout the house made by family and friends. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and items for cooking meals. There are 2 complete bathrooms with a newly remodelled shower room. In 1900 Mark's Great Grandfather Henry Kimball began the work on homesteading this property. The home was built in 1910 for Henry's wife Eva.
The Homestead is open all year round. Contact us for available dates and special area attractions. We look forward to having you as our guest and as a future friend!

Just thought I would drop a line about our stay at your lodge. The accomodations were a lot more than we expected. We have been staying at motels in Platte for the last 7 years. The hospitality was excellent and it was nice to come back to a fire. Privacy is a big factor, it was nice to have a little space without being bothered by a lot of guests and host, like other lodges we've stayed at.
